How do you identify within the LGBTQ+ space?
J has lived in Bristol their whole life and absolutely adores the city.
"Growing up LGBTQ+ I really benefitted from how woke the city is, and how much LGBTQ+ art and culture is ingrained quite literally in its walls. My first pride was Bristol pride, and I definitely see that day as a pivotal part of my life. Seeing so many out, proud and confident LGBTQ+ people gave me the confidence to be a visible part of the LGBTQ+ community wherever I go".
J is studying Engineering at the University of Oxford, and for the past 2 years has held a committee position on the University of Oxford LGBTQ+ Society, providing welfare support to the 2500+ members.
